You poor girl. Once I've been in a hotel for 2 days, Im over it. I can't imagine how you're feeling. Hopefully the next 9 days will go by fast *fingers crossed* so you can start making your new house a home :)

WOW...this was awesome! I made these for dinner tonight. I used a Yuengling Lager and it came out just right. It was super easy and everyone loved it. For those of you who are not alcohol drinkers, there is no alcohol taste whatsoever. my 10 year old ate it and loved it...asked for more!

I found this recipe on Pinterest too. I've never cooked with beer, and don't even like the smell of it, so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but decided to give it a try with chicken breasts. I was expecting something like Sherry or Marsala Chicken, but it's actually closer to a bbq sauce with the ketchup. It was quite tasty, very tender, and super easy! And for those of you, like me, you can't taste the beer, but you do have to tolerate the smell a bit while it cooks. (I used an Irish ale, Smithwick's.)

Thanks for the recipe, I've enjoyed looking around the rest of your blog as well. I'll have to try some of your other recipes.

I was thinking the same thing about the crock pot. I am busy during the day with 2 little ones and things get crazier when the 2 older ones get home from school I love to throw stuff into my crock pot during nap time. Hubs has some Fat Tire in his beer fridge this is on the menu for tonight

Ok, I've made this Liquid Gold three times now and OMG! It is SO good! I tried giving regular old store-bought syrup to my kids last weekend and they hated my breakfast! But I made the Liquid Gold again this morning and they scarfed their pancakes down before mine were cooked! This is now a must in our house for Sunday breakfast. :). Thanks, Siggy!
